A TALK ON MENTAL HEALTH

Advithiya college union celebrated the World health Day with an expert talk on on Mendel health in education by Devika s Kumar, Junior Research Fellow. Mental health issues are very pervasive. More often mental issues are not given due importance. Therefore there is a high need to address it in the field of education. The compering of the session was done by Aparna. Key note addresses were given by Principal, Dr.K Y Benedict and Union Advisor, Dr Joju John. This was accompanied by they main talk by Devika S kumar. The session mainly addressed the role of teachers in inculcating good mental health in students. A very active interactive session was followed.

Eighth Week

                                                  EIGHTH WEEK                                                             31/7/23 - 4/8/23           The teaching practice was extended till 11/8/23. The portion for my class is almost completed. Dr Ancy ma'am came for my general observation on 2/8/ 23. Students were taught the principle of dignity of labour as preached by Mahatma Gandhi. My innovative lesson plan is on the topic reported speech. It was really difficult to teach the students reported speech as they had poor base in Grammar. My lesson plan incorporated different activities to capture the attention of the students.
