  IT'S ONAM  !!!        The excitement during Onam celebrations is absolutely infectious!!! The kaleidoscope of vibrant hues, the harmonious cadence of traditional music, the delicious sadhya and the joyous laughter of friends and family union create an atmosphere filled with jubilance. Its that time of the year when everyone's spirits are lifted and the ambience is electrified with delight.       Amidst the much-awaited Onam celebrations, the semester four students were busy with their project and other works to be submitted before the commission . Despite the bittersweet realization that this Onam marked our final celebration as students at MTTC, we wholeheartedly embraced the festive spirit. There were different programs like Mega thiruvathira and other Onam games .  

    Students were taught noun phrase and verb phrase with the help of charts and ICT. The students comprehension was ensured at every point. Exercise questions were given to them to ensure the complete understanding of the topic. I also taught them reported speech. The topic was made clear to the students with the help of real life situations. The class was enriched with the help of  many activities which caught the attention of the students and ensured in their active participation. 

My innovative lesson plan is on the topic reported speech. It was really difficult to teach the students reported speech as they had poor base in Grammar. My lesson plan incorporated different activities to capture the attention of the students.

                                   FINAL WEEK OF TEACHING PRACTICE      The final  week of the teaching practice was filled with varied emotions. It was a great experience for all of us. I'm really fortunate to have such young aspiring minds. Their dedication and enthusiasm were truly inspiring. I I think I have won a tiny part of their hearts. I could only leave the place with a heavy heart. I consider it a privilege to be a part of this renowned institution. I will cherish these experiences and carry them with me as i embark on new adventures. i am greatly indebted to my students and teachers for making it a remarkable journey.

                             DIAGNOSTIC TEST AND REMEDIAL TEACHING The Diagnostic test was conducted on 8/8/23. The portion for the test was mainly from learning the game and Bang the drum. The answer sheets were evaluated and given om the next day. On the 10th of the August a remedial teaching was also given to the students. Also a quick revision on the topics taught was also conducted.        The school commemorated the Hiroshima- Nagasaki day. As part of this students were asked to make sadako Birds. The classes which made the highest number of sadako birds were rewarded . Commemorating Hiroshima-Nagasaki day in schools holds immense educational value. It provides a platform for the students to learn about the historical significance of the tragic events. it also fosters critical thinking, empathy and a deeper understanding of peace. it enables the students to work towards a peaceful and harmonious world.     Well.. the celebrations in the school reminded me of the Peace conference

                                                  EIGHTH WEEK                                                             31/7/23 - 4/8/23           The teaching practice was extended till 11/8/23. The portion for my class is almost completed. Dr Ancy ma'am came for my general observation on 2/8/ 23. Students were taught the principle of dignity of labour as preached by Mahatma Gandhi. In order to make the students appreciate and respect all jobs equally, they were given activities to prepare gratitude notes to the people belonging to different jobs. They worked in groups and expressed their gratitude to people of different jobs.
