A Visit to Guru Gopinath Natanagramam(22/02/2022)

The day was made of auspicious with the visit to Guru Gopinath Natanagramam. We started our journey from the college after 9.45 am with the blessings of our principal. The institution was blessed with sculptures and beautiful paintings which delineates the different dance forms and the life of Guru Gopinath.

Initially, we had a class by Dr.Sajeev sir who explained to us different mudras and bhavas. He is a disciple of Guru Gopinath.Then we had an opportunity to visit the museum which had models of the different dance forms. The visit was really informational as we got an opportunity to understand and appreciate the myarid dance forms of the world.

We also got a 5D theatre experience of theyyam. All these made the trip a memorable one.

Juggling the anxieties of project and elation about Onam😁

IT'S ONAM !!! The excitement during Onam celebrations is absolutely infectious!!! The kaleidoscope of vibrant hues, the harmonious cadence of traditional music, the delicious sadhya and the joyous laughter of friends and family union create an atmosphere filled with jubilance. Its that time of the year when everyone's spirits are lifted and the ambience is electrified with delight. Amidst the much-awaited Onam celebrations, the semester four students were busy with their project and other works to be submitted before the commission . Despite the bittersweet realization that this Onam marked our final celebration as students at MTTC, we wholeheartedly embraced the festive spirit. There were different programs like Mega thiruvathira and other Onam games .

Teaching practice week 3 26/6/23

The international day against drug abuse and illicit trafficking is observed every year on June 26. Drug abuse is one of the major problems faced in the country. A survey conducted among those below the age of 21 suggested that 40% of the drug addicts were below 18 years. Responding to the calls of the Kerala CM for united efforts to create a drug free world, school students in the state actively contributed their part for the significance of the day. GGHSS, Cotton hill also became a part of this mass movement. it is very important to sensitize the youth on the subject of drug abuse. it is therefore, inevitable to raise awareness about the problems in drug use and suggest ways to prevent the people from succumbing to it. School-level programs should be initiated to find the root cause. Fifth week 10-7-23 to 14-7-23

I had class observation on 10/7/23. The class was observed by Meekha ma'am and she pointed out her valuable suggestions. There was a special assembly on Tuesday as part of the world population day. We had regular classes on Thursday and Friday. Discourse construction activities were given to the students. The students actively participated in the activities.
