Yoga is a flame when you light it up, the glow never fades away...(10/2/22)

The day started with a refreshing yoga class. It improves the mental clarity and boosts our energy within the body. Maya mam engaged to the second hour where seminar presentations of English optional continued. Maya ma'am gave some feedback on the presentations of the previous day. Kavya continued her seminar on the topic ETHNICITY.

The seminar sessions continued during Joju sir's hour. The mathematics optional continued their seminar on computer virus, hacking and the various preventive measures.

Last hour was handled by principal sir. He gave us a brief Idea on the classroom climate.

During the last hour there was a meeting on clubs where our principal introduced the various clubs.

The international day against drug abuse and illicit trafficking is observed every year on June 26. Drug abuse is one of the major problems faced in the country. A survey conducted among those below the age of 21 suggested that 40% of the drug addicts were below 18 years. Responding to the calls of the Kerala CM for united efforts to create a drug free world, school students in the state actively contributed their part for the significance of the day. GGHSS, Cotton hill also became a part of this mass movement. it is very important to sensitize the youth on the subject of drug abuse. it is therefore, inevitable to raise awareness about the problems in drug use and suggest ways to prevent the people from succumbing to it. School-level programs should be initiated to find the root cause. EIGHTH WEEK 31/7/23 - 4/8/23 The teaching practice was extended till 11/8/23. The portion for my class is almost completed. Dr Ancy ma'am came for my general observation on 2/8/ 23. INNOVATIVE LESSON PLAN

My innovative lesson plan is on the topic reported speech. It was really difficult to teach the students reported speech as they had poor base in Grammar. My lesson plan incorporated different activities to capture the attention of the students.
