We Rise By Lifting Others..(9/12/2021)

The day began with a session by Joju sir who involved us in a group discussion about the pros and cons of technology in our daily lives. The discussion was very insightful as we perceived various perspectives of our peers.

Then, we made a visit to Santhi Mandiram, Vattapara where we were warm heartedly welcomed by many smiling faces. We made them sing and dance with us. The place is a small heaven and we were fortunate to meet some people with golden hearts. The journey really moved us.

The afternoon session was marked by the talent hunt of Physical Science and Natural Science. The exuberant performances made the audience get up from their seats.

The international day against drug abuse and illicit trafficking is observed every year on June 26. Drug abuse is one of the major problems faced in the country. A survey conducted among those below the age of 21 suggested that 40% of the drug addicts were below 18 years. Responding to the calls of the Kerala CM for united efforts to create a drug free world, school students in the state actively contributed their part for the significance of the day. GGHSS, Cotton hill also became a part of this mass movement. it is very important to sensitize the youth on the subject of drug abuse. it is therefore, inevitable to raise awareness about the problems in drug use and suggest ways to prevent the people from succumbing to it. EIGHTH WEEK 31/7/23 - 4/8/23 The teaching practice was extended till 11/8/23. The portion for my class is almost completed. Dr Ancy ma'am came for my general observation on 2/8/ 23. Students were taught the principle of dignity of labour as preached by Mahatma Gandhi. INNOVATIVE LESSON PLAN

My innovative lesson plan is on the topic reported speech. It was really difficult to teach the students reported speech as they had poor base in Grammar. My lesson plan incorporated different activities to capture the attention of the students.
