The day commenced with a prayer to the almighty. Jiby ma'am asked us to recollect all the positive strokes we earned from our friends during an interactive session conducted on the previous day. Some of the positive strokes I got are:

Avoid negatives.

Enjoy life before it melts.

Achieving starts with beginning.

Stay strong.

She also described the significance of psychology in the field of education. George Thomas sir engaged the class with a game called 'snatch the ball'. Joju sir inspired us and highlighted the importance of value based vision. The day also witnessed the talent hunt of M.Ed students which included mesmerizing performances.

The international day against drug abuse and illicit trafficking is observed every year on June 26. Drug abuse is one of the major problems faced in the country. A survey conducted among those below the age of 21 suggested that 40% of the drug addicts were below 18 years. Responding to the calls of the Kerala CM for united efforts to create a drug free world, school students in the state actively contributed their part for the significance of the day. GGHSS, Cotton hill also became a part of this mass movement. it is very important to sensitize the youth on the subject of drug abuse. it is therefore, inevitable to raise awareness about the problems in drug use and suggest ways to prevent the people from succumbing to it. School-level programs should be initiated to find the root cause. EIGHTH WEEK 31/7/23 - 4/8/23 The teaching practice was extended till 11/8/23. The portion for my class is almost completed. Dr Ancy ma'am came for my general observation on 2/8/ 23. Students were taught the principle of dignity of labour as preached by Mahatma Gandhi. INNOVATIVE LESSON PLAN

My innovative lesson plan is on the topic reported speech. It was really difficult to teach the students reported speech as they had poor base in Grammar. My lesson plan incorporated different activities to capture the attention of the students.
