COMMUNITY LIVING CAMP

COMMUNITY LIVING CAMP

                                                            12-12-2022 TO 16-12-2022

“No man is an island, entire of itself; everyman is a piece of the continent, a part of the main.”

John Donne’s famous words underline the importance of community in human life. A community living camp is a prescribed program in B.Ed curriculum. However, apart from being a criterion for grades, a community living camp is an experience that is worthwhile for individual growth and community building.

The community living camp was organized at Mar Theophilus Training college in association with the 66th college union, Advithiya and IQAC. At the outset, all the 99 students were divided into four groups. This was done in order to ensure maximum participation and to allow them to work together in groups. The teams are Ikshana, Eleos, Insaniyat, Nanma. The venue for the 5-day camp was set up at the college itself and the stay was arranged at Girideepam convention center.
