COMMUNITY LIVING CAMP 2

Day 3 (14-12-2022)

The events of the third day were organized by Team Insaniyat. The first session of the day was named “Arangukali” and was led by Mr. Bibin R, Research Scholar and Theatre Activist. The session mainly threw light on the importance of drama in education and introduced to us some techniques of theatre. This was followed by a competition of wood carving in which Team Ikshana consisting of Nimmy Joseph, Reshma and S. Arundhati emerged as the winners. The highlight of the day was the cultural programs organised by the various teams. Another significant event of the day was the paper file making session handled by Greeshma Gireeshan and Nimmy Joseph. The final session of the day was by Dr Vaishakan Thampi, Assistant Professor, M G College where he redefined and broadened our horizons on the concept of humanity. It was accompanied by an interactive session. The day concluded with a one hour camp fire.

Day 4 (15-12-2022)

One day trip was the main attraction of the fourth day. The first destination of the one-day trip was the Natural History Museum and Zoological park. Though being one of the most frequently visited places, we felt a novelty in everything. After this, we headed straight to Sagarika Marine Aquarium and Vizhinjam Harbour. The final destination was Kovalam beach.

Day 5 (16-12-2022)

The final session of the camp was led by Mr. Brahma Nayakam Mahadevan, Founder Chairperson of Sahajeevan special school. He led a session that was dynamic, entertaining and filled with moments of learning.

The 5-day long camp came to an end with the valedictory function. This was a bag of memories filled with happiness, love and friendships. For this, we are greatly indebted to our Principal, Dr. K.Y.Benedict, Union Advisor, Dr Joju John, camp coordinators Dr Deepthi Elizabeth and Nadhanine sir.

Juggling the anxieties of project and elation about Onam😁

IT'S ONAM  !!!        The excitement during Onam celebrations is absolutely infectious!!! The kaleidoscope of vibrant hues, the harmonious cadence of traditional music, the delicious sadhya and the joyous laughter of friends and family union create an atmosphere filled with jubilance. Its that time of the year when everyone's spirits are lifted and the ambience is electrified with delight.       Amidst the much-awaited Onam celebrations, the semester four students were busy with their project and other works to be submitted before the commission . Despite the bittersweet realization that this Onam marked our final celebration as students at MTTC, we wholeheartedly embraced the festive spirit. There were different programs like Mega thiruvathira and other Onam games .
