First field Trip 17/03/2022

We had our first field trip today. We reached the campus at 7 am and started our journey at 7.30 am. Our first destination was Ashan smarakam, Thonnakkal where we got an opportunity to relive the memories of the great man of letters, Kumaranasan. We consider it a blessing to see the things used by him and his own handwriting. We were guided by our faculty members including Meekha ma'am, Nathanine sir, George sir and Shiney ma'am.

Our second destination was Sambranikodi, an island in the southern tip of Astamudi Lake. It's always great to feel the waters under the feet. We enjoyed every bit of it. The water was surrounded by greenery. We met some crab 🦀 friends. Some of our friends brushed up their swimming skills and some others seeing this decided to learn swimming. Some of them didn't fail to shoot some dance moves while others including me stood there appreciating the beauty of the greenery.

Our last destination of the day was Kappil beach. It's been long since i last saw a sunset with sand under the feet doing nothing just enjoying the enchanting beauty.

Teaching practice week 3 26/6/23

The international day against drug abuse and illicit trafficking is observed every year on June 26. Drug abuse is one of the major problems faced in the country. A survey conducted among those below the age of 21 suggested that 40% of the drug addicts were below 18 years. Responding to the calls of the Kerala CM for united efforts to create a drug free world, school students in the state actively contributed their part for the significance of the day. GGHSS, Cotton hill also became a part of this mass movement. it is very important to sensitize the youth on the subject of drug abuse. it is therefore, inevitable to raise awareness about the problems in drug use and suggest ways to prevent the people from succumbing to it. EIGHTH WEEK 31/7/23 - 4/8/23 The teaching practice was extended till 11/8/23. The portion for my class is almost completed. Dr Ancy ma'am came for my general observation on 2/8/ 23. Students were taught the principle of dignity of labour as preached by Mahatma Gandhi. INNOVATIVE LESSON PLAN

My innovative lesson plan is on the topic reported speech. It was really difficult to teach the students reported speech as they had poor base in Grammar. My lesson plan incorporated different activities to capture the attention of the students.
