Back to online classes. (27/1/2022)

We are forced to switch to the online mode as there was no decline in covid cases. The first hour was optional and was taken by Meekha ma'am. Athira reflected on the novel 'enmakaje'. It created an urge in me to read the novel. Later Arsha took a seminar on the topic 'Language Teacher Competencies'.
The second hour was taken by Giby ma'am. The class commenced with the melodious prayer song by Aami. She introduced the different schools of psychology including:
-structuralism
-Functionalism
-Psychoanalysis
The last hour was dealt by Maya mam who taught us about e the methods of teaching in Idealism. The class was very informative.

Eighth Week

                                                  EIGHTH WEEK                                                             31/7/23 - 4/8/23           The teaching practice was extended till 11/8/23. The portion for my class is almost completed. Dr Ancy ma'am came for my general observation on 2/8/ 23. Students were taught the principle of dignity of labour as preached by Mahatma Gandhi. Eighth Week Blog 2

    Students were taught noun phrase and verb phrase with the help of charts and ICT. The students comprehension was ensured at every point. Exercise questions were given to them to ensure the complete understanding of the topic. I also taught them reported speech. The topic was made clear to the students with the help of real life situations. The class was enriched with the help of  many activities which caught the attention of the students and ensured in their active participation.
