National Youth Day (12/1/2022)

National Youth Day commemorates the birth of Swami Vivekananda. The zest and vibrancy associated with the day had already filled the campus. There was yet another beautiful and well organized assembly conducted by the Natural science department. Weary faces and saree draped exhausted bodies were brought back to life with a rejuvenating assembly which commenced with the college anthem and prayer.It was accompanied by news, thought for the day, importance of the week. The campus news lit a gentle smile on every faces. Jiby maam inaugurated the logo of the association which was Horus.

The first hour was taken by Satyalekha ma'am.The next hour was handled by Shafana ma'am who discussed about the role of society in education. It was a very interactive session where we too shared our views and perspectives. Dona ma'am engaged the third hour where we discussed about the various intelligent tests.

There was no regular class after the lunch as some of our friends tested positive for covid. The day concluded in a fog of uncertainty.

Project Viva

An internal project Viva was conducted on 23/ 08/23. The teachers asked questions and shared their ideas on the topic. The viva equipped us to prepare for the main viva. We also got all the works signed from the principal.

Eighth Week

EIGHTH WEEK 31/7/23 - 4/8/23 The teaching practice was extended till 11/8/23. The portion for my class is almost completed. Dr Ancy ma'am came for my general observation on 2/8/ 23. Students were taught the principle of dignity of labour as preached by Mahatma Gandhi. In order to make the students appreciate and respect all jobs equally, they were given activities to prepare gratitude notes to the people belonging to different jobs. Eighth Week Blog 2

Students were taught noun phrase and verb phrase with the help of charts and ICT. The students comprehension was ensured at every point. Exercise questions were given to them to ensure the complete understanding of the topic. I also taught them reported speech. The topic was made clear to the students with the help of real life situations. The class was enriched with the help of many activities which caught the attention of the students and ensured in their active participation.
